handsThe Maine Grain Alliance works to build local and regional grain networks as important cornerstones of a vibrant local food movement.  The annual Kneading Conference, Artisan Bread Fair, and year-round baking education workshops encourage farmers to successfully introduce grains into their rotations, create models for rebuilding lost infrastructure, and educate and inspire a new wave of artisan and home bakers, grist mill operators, maltsters, cooks and chefs, and grain entrepreneurs.  Together we are putting a face and a place on grains.

Donations can be tailored to specific programs or benefit the work of our overall organization. For the Kneading Conference and Artisan Bread Fair we offer sponsorship opportunities with distinct benefits. We also offer sponsorship opportunities which you have the opportunity to help funded when you register yourself for the Kneading Conference online; simply add “Sponsor A Baker, Farmer, Miller, or Student to Attend” to your registration form. If you would like to make a secure online contribution of any amount, please submit your donation below in the Help Us Grow form.

If you prefer to mail us a check, please make it out to the Maine Grain Alliance and write “donation” in the Memo.
